Meet Our Doctors

CH.jpgDr. Craig Hyden graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University in 2000.  He has been practicing medicine in the Colorado Springs area for 11 years, with the last seven being here at Crossroads Animal Hospital.  Dr. Hyden practices all aspects of veterinary medicine, ranging from neuters and spays, to dentals and orthopedics.  Dr. Hyden is certified in the TightRope procedure, which is the latest technique for ACL repair.  Dr. Hyden has performed over 400 CT and MRIs on dogs and cats since 2003.  He does this in concert with the Veterinary Specialty Center in Colorado Springs.  As a result, he has developed a close association with the orthopedic and internal medicine veterinary specialists.

Dr. Hyden knew from the age of five that he wanted to become a vet when he grew up.  He feels fortunate to be able to care for so many wonderful cats and dogs, and to establish relationships with their owners.  Dr. Hyden has interests beyond keeping so many dogs and cats healthy.  He cherishes spending time with his three children, kiteboarding, shooting, fast cars, and working on several never-ending home remodeling projects.
